This Privacy Policy explains how HoverUp Park ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website (https://hoverup.com), our mobile application, and our motorsport facility services. By using our services you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored as a secure hash) when you register.
  • Booking information: the arena, date, and time slot you book, along with the names and phone numbers of party members you invite.
  • Driver information: driver's license number and vehicle license number, and uploaded photos of these documents for each driver in a booking.
  • Payment information: processed by our secure payment provider (Mastercard Payment Gateway Services). We do not store your full card number, expiry, or CVV on our servers. We only store the transaction reference and amount.
  • Promo codes you choose to apply at checkout.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information: device model, operating system version, and a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push token used to deliver notifications. This token is used only to send notifications to your device and is removed when you log out.
  • Usage information: bookings created, sessions used, login times, and session deductions at the gate.
  • Standard server logs: IP address, browser/app version, and access times for security and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and memberships.
  • To process bookings, payments, and refunds (where applicable).
  • To verify driver and vehicle eligibility at the gate.
  • To send booking confirmations, reminders, invitations, and important account updates by SMS, email, and push notification.
  • To send marketing or promotional messages only when you have opted in.
  • To improve our services and prevent fraud or misuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Payment processors (Mastercard Payment Gateway Services) — to process card payments securely.
  • SMS providers (AMS Broadnet) — to deliver booking SMS notifications.
  • Push notification providers (Google Firebase) — to deliver push notifications to your device.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers — for hosting and security (e.g. Cloudflare, hosting provider).
  • Legal authorities — if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.

4. Data Retention

  • Account data — kept while your account is active and for up to 3 years after closure for legal and accounting purposes.
  • Booking records — retained for 7 years for accounting and audit compliance.
  • License document images — stored for the duration of any booking referencing them, then deleted within 90 days after the last booking is completed.
  • Push tokens — deleted on logout or when the device unregisters.
  • Server logs — kept for up to 90 days.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: HTTPS encryption for all traffic, secure password hashing, isolated payment processing through PCI-compliant providers, restricted access to personal data, and regular security updates. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong unique password and notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data via the app or by contacting us.
  • Delete your account and data (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
  • Opt out of push notifications in your device settings.
  • Object to certain processing or request a copy of your data in a portable format.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for users aged 18 and over (the legal age for holding a driver's license in Jordan). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data is stored on servers that may be located outside Jordan, including in the European Union and the United States. Our third-party providers (Mastercard, Google Firebase, Cloudflare) may process data globally. All transfers use industry-standard safeguards.

9. Cookies

Our website uses cookies essential for login, security, and remembering your preferences. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the website may not work as expected.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
