1.1 Participants must be Jordanians and at least 14 years of age.

1.2 Participants aged 14 to 18 must submit a signed parental consent form before participating.

1.3 Participation may be limited by capacity. Organizers may refuse or revoke entry at their discretion.

2.1 Event means The HoverU Race and all related activities.

2.2 Stages means Stage 1 Simulator Showdown, and Stage 2 The Practical Finale

2.3 Organizers means HoverUp and their partners, sponsors, contractors, and venue owners.

3.1 A complete and accurate registration form is required.

3.2 A valid SMS-enabled mobile number and a valid email address must be provided to receive confirmations, simulator access, schedules, and updates.

3.3 Identity verification may be requested at any time. Failure to verify may result in removal.

3.4 For participants aged 14 to 18, the signed parent consent form must be uploaded during registration. Entries from minors are not confirmed until the form is received and verified.

3.5 No transfer or resale of entries without written approval from organizers.

4.1 Stages’ equipment will be provided by the organizers. Personal drones and Remote Controllers are not permitted unless expressly approved in writing by race officials.

4.3 Organizers may inspect any equipment at any time for safety and technical compliance.

5.1 Pilots must follow the designated course and complete the required number of laps.

5.2 Crashes or leaving the course may result in penalties or disqualification at the sole discretion of the judges.

5.3 Unsporting behavior, unsafe operation, or ignoring marshal or official instructions may result in immediate removal.

6.1 Timing, penalties, and results are determined by the judges and race control.

6.2 Appeals must be submitted in writing within fifteen minutes of provisional results for the relevant heat or race.

6.3 All decisions by race control after appeal review are final.

7.1 All participants must follow safety briefings, flight line procedures, and venue rules.

7.2 Protective gear and designated safe zones must be respected at all times.

7.3 Organizers may pause or stop any session for safety reasons.

8.1 Participants must act professionally and respectfully toward staff, judges, volunteers, and fellow racers.

8.2 Harassment, cheating, equipment tampering, or disruptive conduct will result in disqualification and removal.

8.3 By registering, participants agree to comply with all rules and instructions from organizers.

9.1 Participants must handle all equipment, furnishings, structures, and any property at event venues with care and responsibility.

9.2 Any loss, damage, or misuse caused by a participant to venue property or event equipment may result in immediate disqualification and the participant being held financially responsible for repair or replacement costs.

9.3 Organizers may recover costs directly from the participant and may involve guardians in the case of minors.

10.1 Participation is at the participant’s own risk.

10.2 Organizers, sponsors, affiliates, and venue owners are not liable for personal injury, illness, or death, for loss or damage to equipment, or for any other loss or claim arising from participation, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

10.3 Participants are responsible for ensuring their equipment is safe and operable and must report issues to organizers immediately.

10.4 Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers against claims arising from their participation.

11.1 For participants aged 14 to 18, a parent must sign the consent acknowledgment forms.

11.2 The signed consent form must be uploaded during registration and may be requested in original form at check in.

11.3 Organizers may request proof of age and identity.

12.1 The event or any stage may be postponed, modified, or canceled due to weather, safety, venue issues, technical failures, or other unforeseen circumstances.

12.2 Updates will be communicated through official channels including SMS and/or email.

12.3 Organizers are not responsible for participant costs related to changes or cancellations.

13.1 Prizes, if any, will be announced by the organizers.

13.2 Winners are responsible for any taxes, fees, or legal obligations associated with prizes.

14.1 By participating, you grant the organizers the unrestricted right to use your name, image, voice, and race performance in any media for promotion, marketing, broadcast, and archival purposes without additional compensation.

14.2 The event may be recorded and distributed online, on television, in print, and in other channels.

14.3 Participants may not use event trademarks or branding for commercial purposes without written approval.

15.1 Personal data provided during registration, including the SMS-enabled mobile number and email address, will be used for event administration, safety, and communications.

15.2 Organizers will not sell participant data to third parties. Limited sharing with service providers may occur for event operations.

16.1 Organizers may disqualify any participant for rule breaches, unsafe behavior, property damage, or failure to follow instructions.

16.2 Disqualification may occur without refund.

The parent acknowledges and agrees to the following:

• I, as the parent of the registered student, consent to his/her participation in the HoverU event/competition.
• I assume full responsibility for any behavior or actions that my child may exhibit during the event, and I undertake to compensate for any material damage or property loss that may occur to the organizer’s equipment or to other participants, whether intentional or unintentional.
• I confirm that my child has no medical or psychological condition preventing him/her from participating, and in case of any special condition, I have informed the organizer in writing in advance.
• I release the organizer, its staff, and participating volunteers from any legal or medical liability that may arise from injuries or accidents – God forbid – that may occur during the participation period.
• I consent to photographing my child during the event and to the use of the images for documentation or media purposes.
• I consent to the use of our personal data, including phone number and email, for managing the event and for communication purposes.

18.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

18.2 Any dispute arising from the event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jordan.

19.1 By registering for The HoverU Race, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
